About the Role

As the Vice President of Construction, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the construction process for our home remodeling and new build projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of projects, meeting client expectations, and achieving business objectives. This is a senior-level position that requires strong leadership skills, extensive construction industry knowledge, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.

- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the construction department, setting goals and objectives that align with the company's vision and growth plans.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing construction team, including project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, managing expectations, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the construction process.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, closely monitoring expenses, analyzing cost data, and implementing cost-effective strategies to maximize profitability.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce rigorous quality control measures to ensure construction projects adhere to industry standards, building codes, and client specifications.
- Vendor and Supplier Management: Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services, negotiate favorable contracts, and maintain positive working relationships.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues associated with construction projects, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address any challenges that arise during the construction process.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, permits, and safety standards, fostering a culture of safety awareness and enforcing best practices on construction sites.
